This dress is in the pantheon of my most favorite dresses ever. Underbust, strawberries, cute animals, and it also has a nice sturdy fabric!

This print is just so lovely! I got this dress before the other one, and it's so cute! I wish I also had the red version of the print haha.

A new entry for this year! More strawberries, but somewhat more elegant (?), yellow and brown seem to be fine, so I'm excited to wear this at a spring event!

Yet another cute strawberry print dress that fits me like a glove! the pink is also not overly disturbing so I can tolerate it. I want to find more occasions to wear it!

I'm starting to worry every Leur Getter dress has this common denominator of having a neck that is too wide for my liking, a bit too loose on me, and the fabric is always so fragile... but other than that this dress is so cute! I like to wear it a bit more casually.

I got this skirt at the Bring and Buy in Vienna, and it has several stains so it was super cheap! It seems like it's very hard for me to wear skirts after all, so I wonder if I'll manage to wear it more this year.

Liz Lisa may not properly be a lolita brand, but this dress definitely can fit a petti, and it's just so comfortable in summer. Gingham and strawberries are such a great combo too! I wear it all the time in summer.

I still haven't found a replacement for this dress, will keep looking! I think it is the epithome of country with the gingham pattern, but with the fact that it is so large on me, if I ever find something similar and that fits, I might let this one go at last.

A gingham dress in sax and by IW is like a dream! It has the vibes of The Wizard of Oz like this, it's so adorable! I wore it in spring last year and I can't wait to wear it again many times!

Still a comfy, elegant but not too OTT dress, perfect to look put together but not scare the normies! It's super versatile, and among my most worn ones.

I have to thank Kaya for letting me have this beautiful, superb dress. It is composed of the main tartan part in whool, very thick, and a separate underskirt that adds the black lace/tulle at the bottom. I was on the hunt for some good tartan and this dress is perfect in winter!

I have been desiring something by WireHead for a long time, and every time I tried the JSKs or OPs or Camisoles, I was too short for them so they made a weird bulk on me! But this skirt is fine, maybe just a tad too long as most skirts are on me. I love it, it's so soft and the laces! The laces!! I accidentally cut one of the ribbons the day I bought it at our Summer ILD and WireHead kindly sent me a replacement. I am so grateful Q.Q

I love the little hearts in the sky, I love the dove bringing hearts around. This print is so hopeful and bright and happy. The fabric is also quite nice. I wore it among tulips last year and it felt so perfect!

Still a poor mistreated dress but I definitely showered it in love. I was set on selling it since I acquired the other colorway but I have to be honest, it has been growing on me and I'm not ready to let go of it after all.

At long last, it finally reached me! My first brand dress that I have bought directly from the brand itself without a shopping service! It took over a year, but having it in my hands, along with the rosettes and novelty book, was such an immense joy. It's a bit long for me and it's quite tight, but oh boy, it is magnificent.

I have the matching handkerchief so when I saw this one on Vinted I had to get it! I want to wear it this spring when the wisterias bloom!

When I first got this dress, I thought I would use it a couple of times but it wouldn't be a favorite, because it has some weird writing on it. Lo and behold, I've already used it in 10 separate meets of various kinds and I keep reaching to it. It's cute, comfy, and light!

Ultra damaged piece, it has two huge discoloration stains on the cape and on the bottom side of the dress plus several small stains scattered all over. I have washed it multiple times, dry cleaned it, used several methods to also get rid of other problems this one had. Now it's a (very elegant) battle dress.

I am longing more and more for flower patterns, and as always I can't say no to an underbust dress. I love how elegant it is, and I especially like the flower pattern despite the fact that it is grey. It also looks awesome without petti!

This dress is such a comfortable, breezy, long flowery piece in my wardrobe. I also like to wear it casually with no petticoat in the summer. It's constructed really well and fits like a glove.

Of the 4 different colorways of this dress, I ended up keeping only this one as it was the one I vibes with the most, and I wanted more variety in floral dresses, plus the length is definitely very long so less versatile to me. But it has pockets!

This is the very latest acquisition in my wardrobe before the publishing of the post! I am trying to sneak more -very washed out and therefore acceptable - pink, just because I think if it's florals and not trims, perhaps I can wear it. I like how delicate this print is!

This dress is a bit of a traitor for two reasons: First, the base is slightly more pinkish than it should be. Secondly, it looked awful on me until I lost some weight. The fabric is very lightweight so I suppose it will be great in summer, and I loved the roses and red trims so I'll give it a chance!

I just got this at the last comm swap meet with the detachable sleeves. I tried the sleeves and they're too tight, but without them it's still a cute floral in my favorite colors so I think I'll get to use it a lot for casual meets!

My first Mary Magdalene dress! Very light and summery, it's now a staple in summer for me! Comfortable, well constructed, I didn't think I'd like it as much as I ended up doing. I'm quite happy with it!

I heard the call of flowers and had to answer it. I was enamoured with the bottom print and couldn't resist it. I definitely need to organize more tea parties cause these dresses all call for them to be beautiful bouquets in gardens.

I added this one to lolibrary myself 😀 It's a whool rose pattern version of the Classical Dress by Fairy Wish, and when I saw it on Marianna in Japan, I knew I wanted to have it! My shoulders are very narrow, so I had to modify it with a ladder stitch that can be undone to make it tighter for me. Very warm and cute!

A dog dress with dogs that resemble Luna a lot!! I saw it, I bought it. I got it from Vinted with a bunch of defects but WHO CARES it means I can wear it around Luna carefree, and actually found out the name of this dress to compile this wardrobe post 😀

This year I finally wore this cursed dress after spending countless nights fixing one thing or another of this dress. I hate this particular dress a little less now at least. I wish I could find the black JSK instead! Another one I can wear around Luna without worries!

The silhouette of this dress is crazy flattering and the print and color are so nice! I am still madly in love with it. I know other dresses with this cut by IW exist and I'm out to get them.

Got this OP to match with my friend who has it in the grey version. Will we ever wear it and twin together? It didn't happen this year either, I am losing hope ahahah. Still, it's very comfortable, soft, and has two deep pockets and very cute details, so it's a winter comfort dress.

The lace on this dress is simply incredible. The ribbon on the front is also very pretty. I love this dress cause it's very elegant and refined without overdoing it. It also basically needs no ironing. I know some people don't like modern IW, but I think it has its perks for those of us who like to dress daily, and be comfortable while elegant without overdoing it too much!

I had the incredible honor to meet Alice Kobayashi in person, and touch with these two hands the collection that was brought for the event in Brescia 2024 Il Palazzo delle Bambole. The fabric of this has a delicate pattern, and the dress has a pocket!
It is super sturdy and I have worn it on various occasions.

I got this other Mary Madgalene thanks to Kaya once again, who kindly sold it to me after getting her preferred colorway, paired with her matching rosette, and I wore it on my birthday in Finland! You can't see it from my pic, but the back of this dress is bustled. Also be warned because this dress bleeds a lot! I washed the armpits of it and the water looked like I was squeezing tomatoes!

I'm so happy I finally got my hand on the original and in one of my favorite colorways! You see, Le Carrousel made a dress called "Magdalene OP" which you can find in my white dresses section, that is heavily inspired by this. It is very different, the waist is lower, the details are different, it's shirred with corset lacing and so on, but it got me curious to ever find this one instead. I still love both!

This dress is a heavy bleeder and it has permanently stained the IW skirt I paired it with, to my utmost disdain. However, it's also my first velvet piece and I got to wear it twice already. I'd be curious to wear it when it's a bit warmer so I can avoid using long bouses under it.

The color looks almost like white but it's a super delicate icy blue, the silhouette really outlines a snatched waist while leaving room for the sisters above it. It is also surprisingly soft and so elegant! An incredible find in the crazy MM economy of the last couple of years, thank you Jay again for selling me this marvelous dress, I'll do my best to wear it again and again!

This colorway seems to be pretty rare, I still haven't found someone else with it. I got it from someone who has basically launched lolita in Italy, so it's a great honor. I would still love to have also the more common/popular red colorway, but I've been longing for mint for such a long time, I am really happy with it.

We did a group order and I got this lovely dress in it, it has two deep pockets, it's in pure cotton, and it's simply great. I love it!
I have worn it on concerts, to go on bikes, walk, under the sun, or every circumstance, last year i was my most worn dress! It's simply perfect for any daily usage while also being flattering and elegant. I love it!

Lovely, adorable, lightweight, breezy piece. I wore it quite a bit in the summer. Machine washable, cute, truly a lovely summer piece!

Innocent World - UV Cut Stripe Sailor OP in Sax 2013
I feel like I got a very obscure item from 2013 since this colorway isn't even on lolibrary! and a year later, I went down a rabbit hole, found the pics, added them to lolibrary, and I adore it, the fabric is very light and doesn't need to be ironed. It is the cutest sailor dress!

I have a huge soft spot for sailor dresses, and especially the way Innocent World interprets them. I got this OP together with another one, by total chance, causally spotting them on LaceMarket. A perfect summer dress, as the fabric not only is very light and transpiring, it also doesn't stay sweaty for long!

This is like the epithome of sailor lolita to me. perfect color, perfect cut, I got this colorway after trying the ivory one, I am obsessed with it!

Innocent World - Anchor Charm OP in Ivory 2014
This OP has a super flattering cut! and is likely one of the very few IW dresses to feature a pocket, mostly decorative, unfortunately. It has a tiny sparkly anchor charm on the bow which gives the name. Lightweight and transpiring, it's another lovely summery sailor dress.

It was only time until I'd get a red sailor dress by IW. It's very cute and giving more school than nautical sailor, but I still enjoyed wearing it a lot!

I got this mainly to twin with people in my comm (and we twinned it a lot), and what convinced me was the underbust cut, which is only available in black, so black it is! My comm is growing to be more gothic, so I think it's good to have a few more pieces like this to shuffle for those themed meets.

The simplest underbust dress from IW I own, I love it. It's easy to wear it casually or make it elegant, it has a crossed back, and it's simply cute. I like to wear it casually too.

This dress feels so academic! The above is my favorite coordination with it. (IW headdress and the necktie stolen from another gray dress) It's classic and elegant and a statement without being too much, so it's quite wearable.

I got this beauty from a lovely person! It triggered the selling of other dresses I got to fill the void while looking for something quite like it. The epithome of classic, and with stripes in red and blue, and a cute peter pan collar, so perfect!

I still can't believe I have one of the holy grails of lolita in my hands. This year I got the original ribbons - Thank you Kaya!!, so I'm retaking the pictures. Also this is probably the dress that fits me the best, just like a glove, and it has so much room for a petti underneath! I'm in love.

I got this dress at one of our comm's swap meets from a historic lolita who left the fashion. this one was missing the bow too, but I am super grateful to MM for sending a replacement along with my Marine Rose. I hope they will re-release this as I would really love to have the sax and mint versions of it. I realized this was the mini version only in taking the pictures for this wardrobe post!

Short dress with a built-in petticoat. It has a big cute bow in the back. I often wear this one for casualwear as it's super cute and extra comfortable over many hours.

A very cute skirt. It's missing the belt but it might be better this way. Perfect length for me, poofy, cute, pockets, casual but quirky to the perfect degree. I wish I could be more creative coording it.

This dress is still very beloved and cherished, I think I appreciate more not finding the red version of it now, as the blue is likely more wearable casually. And it has a pocket!

I got this skirt from the same person I got French Dot Dream from, and the void is filled. To be honest a part of me will always want a red polka dot dress, but I think it's easier to wear in ways that don't associate you immediately with Minnie at least!

A gorgeous JSK, but a bit butchered. It's missing corset lacing, the belt, and I just noticed the previous owner ripped the buttons out. But it looks sturdy and it has been loved a lot! Plus, it has a pocket!

A truly enchanting piece, surprisingly higher waisted than I would have expected, but I cannot resist a book themed dress that even has stripes and is red! It came also with the same headdress the model wears in the photoshoot, so lucky! I think I might switch this for the underbust version if I can find it.

This dress is officially my go-to for travelling: needs no ironing, it can be worn both with and without a petti for a more casual look, and you basically roll it up and it's so small to pack! The print is exquisite, I adore it. I will never sell it.

I adore this dress, I've been wearing it a lot every winter, it's great for quirky casual wear and otome, and just to have an elegant look but not too OTT. And it has two pockets!
I call it my comfort dress because it's also siper comfy, warm and soft!

I received it in terrible condition, with all the shirring in the back completely ruined, I had it repaired by my grandma and it's now a nice staple piece. Simple but classy. It is quite a sturdy and reliable piece!

I first tried it for a style-swap swap meet a couple of years ago, then when Gaia wanted to sell it, I immediately got it because it felt amazing to wear it! I wear it especially casually, and I got some shirts to pair with it so it's gonna be interesting!

The blue one eludes me and this is a size too big for me, but omg it's Clara. I could finally appreciate all the lace details from up close! Life is good. It's also comfy to wear casually and sort of appropriate to not scare the normies too much, so two thumbs up! The ribbon was missing and I used one of mine.

Another splendid IW piece from 2012. Since I got it second hand from Vinted and it had a slight feel of wear, it allows me to just wear it without worrying too much about using it, and so I use it a lot, also casually!

I got this dress from a lovely person on vinted. At first I didn't really like the shape given by the two huge pockets, but it has grown a bit on me. The collar area is very open, which paired with the long sleeves makes it a bit hard to coord for the weather.

I got this one with the other long sleeved Angelica. This one has a much lighter cotton fabric, perfect for summer, and I have worn it quite several times, often casually! I wasn't too sold on the huge pockets, but they are awfully convenient to go through vintage markets and carry stuff in summer.

I wasn't sure about getting this dress, I had to be convinced actually, but I'm glad I got it! It's simple, but has amazing details near the collar. I love musical themes! Would have adored the wine version of this, or even better, the short sleeves version.

This dress is missing the original neck tie, but maybe it's for the best because I love this replacement one a lot more! Very lightweight and summery, I have used it in winter but I feel I will use it a lot all year round! I was afraid it would be pink but it's the beige version that for some reason looks YELLOW in their product pictures.

This skirt had an unfortunate accident in transit, as the seller put it unprotected together with unsealed candies, which of course with humidity and all stained it on the belt, it also arrived all sticky. The dry cleaner couldn't remove the stains, (which are on the sides, no not really visible here). I'll try to wear it sometime, maybe covering it with a shirt.

This beauty is a lucky comm sale I got! It's in fantastic condition, can fit a roomy petticoat and it has amazing lace details. The fabric is a bit heavy, the shape, majestic. I have worn this in several combinations last year and had quite some fun with it.

Well, I caved. I always I thought if I had to have an old school piece, I wouold really have fancied this OP in white or sax. I of course knew it from Kamikaze Girls, but I fell in love with it by seeing the white colorway in person from an attendant at the Divina Commedia EGL event in Rome. The details of the fabric! I also love that it feels a bit worn, so I'm slightly less worried of wearing it. I am not really sure if the year is correct, but the person I got it from said it was a release without the headdress, and it has lining. I couldn't find a product number, so my best guess is this.

I got this because I love the dress model and wanted a white lightweight summer dress to also wear casually or with a corset. I have worn it a lot in summer, it has helped me fight the warmth while staying comfortable! It is very similar to Apollonia, which I now also own. However, Apollonia never had a white colorway, and I wanted a white dress exactly like this, so thank you Le Carrousel!

This one was advertised as Ista Mori, but the tag said Beaver Duke, I'm unsure which is it! I got everything: the JSK, blouse, headscarf, rectangular headdress, necklace, and I have worn them in various combinations. It has pockets! I had lots of fun with it, but I have found also other dresses for the type of activity I usually wear this with.

I URGE you to go look at the names of the colorways for this dress. It's a pasta dress! It has the Italian tricolor on the belt and even on the back buttons! I of course also had to get the matching ITALIA hairpin, I mean, how could I not? I already did a super iconic coord with it.

Until I get IW Clara OP in blue, I'll keep searching for ways to fill the void with blue dresses. This is a patch to that void. I also got the matching apron for that full Alice look. It's a cute dress that can also be worn casually without the apron, which I have now sold, I ended up wearing it and liking it more I would have initially thought.

I'm not sure I ISOd this dress correctly, but it looks exactly like it EXCEPT for the collar, and there's no other version of this on lolibrary. This dress is DIVINE. It has a feeling of wear now, but it's so simple, so comfortable, so pretty. I love it.

I don't wear crosses, so I thought it would be impossible for me to fint something to wear from this brand. This is the glitch in the matrix, one of the few Moitié pieces that has no crosses, but just roses instead! I got it at the bring and buy in Vienna, and I loved to discover its story through instagram, I feel like I truly have a piece of history with this one.

Very cute and comfortable skirt, quite roomy too! It's black, striped and has glittery pois! I wish I could ISO it.

Super short navy skirt by IW. It looks plain the front, but the back has some nice poofy details. I wear it in summer in casual contexts and I generally pair it with this Axes Femme cutsew that is much more intricate to balance the plainness of the front.

A moment of praise for the seller on vinted who sold me the skirt, the cutsew and gifted me the big ribbon too. (that belongs to another cutsew).

The product number listed inside the washing tag did the trick to finally ISO this coat. It is missing the big bow in the front and the main colorway displayed was different which made it tricky to identify without it on lolibrary. This piece has holes in the lace and the bow in the back is a pain, but it is warm and lovely, so it's ok!

This coat is the prettiest ever. It is warm, (90% wool!) and the details are really pretty. Since my partner got it for me as a gift last winter, I'm mostly wearing this! After all, I love wearing red.

This jacket has 4 pockets! It was my companion in the last winter, but lately I've work mostly the red one as it covers a little bit better. I'm sure it will make a great return again!

A jacket with a very cute back! Perfect for chilly weather.
This year I further expanded my collection of prints and florals, and got some more incredible Mary Magdalene finds.
In the end I acquired 19 more main pieces, but also gave up around 13 of them. That should bring the total to 80, last year they were 74. As always during the year there's a bit more fluctuation but these are the wardrobe comparison. I would like to sell some more pieces to downsize a bit my wardrobe, but at the same time, temptations are always around the corner, just not too strong so I am rather satisfied except the occasional dream dress still eluding me. (looking at you, Clara op in Blue M). I would love to keep expanding my florals section and find more Mary Magdalene.
Some AirTable data! Some notable things are that nearly half of my main pieces (42.9%) are by IW, Followed by Mary Magdalene (14.3%), and Angelic Pretty (7.79%).
I have tracked 175 coords for 2025, (last year they were 204) and I have worn every single main piece I own at least once during 2025.
So that's the end of my 8th year of wearing lolita. I'm once again looking forward to read everyone's wardrobe posts!
See you next year!
Erika
What a amazing post 😍
Thank you for these beautiful pictures and for taking the time to write a bit about each item. I love your style & it’s amazing that you use your collection so well.
Congrats for the work you put into this, your collection is fascinating. I loved the stats too !
Nice to see your comparison with last year & where you would like to head next year.
Thanks again, & kudos for contributing to lolibrary ❤️
What an amazing wardrobe! It’s really lovely to see so many themed-pieces grouped together. The ones themed after books / libraries were my favourites.
